Ferengi stages of acquisition
Infatuation,“ I want it.”
Justifiation, “I must have it.”
Appropriation, “it’s mine at last!”
Obsession, “precious!”
Resale, “ make me an offer.”
In star trek the Ferengi are seen as the villain because they want to acquire things. But I ask how different are they from all of us? I don’t think there I one person out there has not found themselves in any one of these stages. I think we go thought all of these stages on a daily bases we do for all the things we have in our lives. Everything from our jobs to house to partners we ask these questions. I think it just a fact of life is it wrong? No it just the way things are. So have fun acquire stuff.
